How our text-message program works, what you'll receive, and how to opt in or out. Last updated May 17, 2026.

What Messages You'll Receive

By providing your mobile number on our online booking form (/book) or during a phone call with our office, and by checking the consent box(es), you agree to receive text messages from us. There are two distinct opt-ins:

1. Transactional / service messages (always sent when you book)

Sample: Lucky's Reliable Home Services: Confirming your service on 5/22 between 10AM-12PM. Reply YES to confirm or call (813) 576-1822 to reschedule. Reply STOP to opt out.

2. Marketing / promotional messages (separate optional opt-in)

Sample: Lucky's: It's HVAC tune-up season — save $30 on a full system inspection through 6/30. Book at /book or call (813) 576-1822. Reply STOP to opt out.

Message Frequency

Transactional: Up to 6 messages per active service (booking, confirmation, on-the-way, completion, invoice, review).
Marketing: Typically 2–4 messages per month. Frequency varies.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and mobile plan. Lucky's Reliable Home Services does not charge for messages — your wireless carrier may.

How to Get Help or Opt Out

HELP
Reply HELP to any message for support info. We'll reply with our contact info and opt-out instructions.
STOP
Reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) to any message at any time to stop receiving messages. You'll get one confirmation; nothing more.
START
Reply START (or YES, UNSTOP) to opt back in if you previously opted out.

How You Opt In

Consent is collected on our public booking form at /book. There are two unchecked-by-default checkboxes on the review step:

Required (transactional): "I agree to receive booking, dispatch, invoice, and service-completion text messages from Lucky's Reliable Home Services at the number provided. Msg frequency varies — up to 6 per service. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service."
Optional (marketing): "I agree to also receive recurring promotional and marketing text messages from Lucky's Reliable Home Services at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg frequency varies (2–4 msgs/month). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."

Neither checkbox is pre-selected. We do not require marketing consent in order to book or receive service.

Privacy & Data Handling

We will never share, sell, or rent your phone number or your text-message opt-in data to any third party or affiliate, including for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and message content are stored only by Lucky's Reliable Home Services and our SMS delivery partner (Twilio). For full details see our Privacy Policy.

Carrier disclosure: SMS messages are delivered by Twilio (twilio.com) on behalf of Lucky's Reliable Home Services. Twilio's privacy notice is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

Eligibility & Carrier Support

You must be 18 or older and the account holder of the mobile phone you provide. Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and other major US wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Changes to This Program

We may update these messaging terms from time to time. The current version is always at this URL. Material changes will be communicated via SMS or email at least 30 days in advance.
