Terms of Service

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the online booking, customer communication, and account services provided by Lucky's Reliable Home Services ("Company", "we", "us"). By booking a service appointment online, signing an estimate, or providing your contact information to us, you agree to these Terms.

2. Booking a Service Appointment

When you book online, you authorize Lucky's Reliable Home Services to schedule a licensed technician to visit the service address you provide. We will confirm the appointment by SMS or email and provide an arrival window. Actual arrival time may vary based on prior jobs running long, weather, or emergencies.

3. Dispatch Fee & Pricing

For most service calls, a non-refundable dispatch fee applies to cover the technician's travel, diagnosis, and presentation of repair options. The current dispatch fee is shown on your booking confirmation and again on your invoice. If you authorize repairs at the time of the visit, the dispatch fee is typically applied as a credit against the total repair cost (final amount disclosed in your written estimate).

Repair work beyond diagnosis is performed only after a written estimate is reviewed and accepted by the customer. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted.

4. Payment

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept credit/debit cards, ACH, checks, and approved financing partners. By providing a card during booking, you authorize Lucky's Reliable Home Services to charge the agreed-upon amount for the dispatch fee or other authorized work.

Disputed charges should be raised with us first by calling (813) 576-1245 before initiating a chargeback. We honor all warranty obligations on workmanship and parts as specified in your written estimate or invoice.

5. SMS & Email Communication Consent

By providing your phone number or email and checking the consent boxes during booking, you agree to receive transactional and (optionally) marketing messages from Lucky's Reliable Home Services. Transactional messages include booking confirmations, technician arrival updates, invoice delivery, payment receipts, and review requests. Marketing messages — if you opt in — include seasonal promotions, maintenance reminders, and service offers.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

You may reschedule or cancel an appointment at no charge by contacting us at least 2 hours before the scheduled arrival window. Cancellations within the arrival window may incur a partial dispatch fee at our discretion. Same-day emergency cancellations are handled case-by-case.

7. Service Area

We currently serve residential and commercial properties in the Tampa Bay region and surrounding counties. If your ZIP code is outside our service area, the online booking tool will direct you to call us to discuss options.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any work performed is limited to the amount paid for that specific service. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, code violations created by prior contractors, or damage caused by customer-supplied parts. Workmanship and parts warranties are stated in the written estimate or invoice for each job.

9. Property Access & Safety

You agree to provide reasonable access to the work area, including pets safely contained, and to disclose any hazards (gas leaks, live electrical, structural concerns) before work begins. Technicians may decline to start or continue work if conditions are unsafe.

10. Privacy

We collect only the information needed to schedule, service, and bill your appointment — name, address, phone, email, payment method, and job notes. We do not sell or share customer data with third parties for unrelated marketing. Payment information is processed and tokenized by our PCI-compliant payment processor (Stripe).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version is always at this page with the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance.
